Meditation

While I like to practice and propose various styles of meditative practices, the state of contemplation and reflection seems to be the one readily accessible and tangible in any moment that we decide to tune in.

Whether we are seated gazing into the sunset, in the midst of a busy airport or still sleepy from the night. The form of contemplation also seems to imminently and directly pull us into our heart space, allowing an expansion of awareness into the world around us.

The state of contemplation and reflection naturally gifts itself to us in various moments of life. These are usually times when some part of a journey is
complete, in an experience that profoundly lingers in us or in a period of
intensity that requires us tune in a little deeper.

Contemplation and reflection can be a practice too. I personally like
to do so in a supported meditation position, like leaning up against a wall
or supporting the seat with extra props and cushioning.

Mostly I find myself ceasing into this state pondering over nature, looking into wide open spaces and tracing horizons. Or lazing in a comfortable armchair or hammock. Observing the field of mind, emotion and spirit.
This practice allows us to transition in every day life and in times of grander shifting, processing our internal world respectively to what we are experiencing outside of us.

You may enjoy dropping these questions into the
field of your experience:

What part of me has always been the same?
What aspect of me is unchanging?
What makes the body breathe?
What animates me?

There’s an awareness, a presence that has been here with you all your life.
Pulling you through your essence.
Can you sense it?
